4th of July Celebration Weekend

What a fantabulous weekend! Lots of great times with great friends. Saturday we headed out to the pool and swam for a little bit...unfortunately the thunder put a damper on our plans so we headed back to our house for some beer & pirate pool fun. We rounded out the night with Frank beating Kel & I at Yahtzee...REALLY - we can't even beat him at a game of chance. HA. Sunday we had our favorite breakfast buffet at Skeeter's and then took the boys to see Cars 2. They loved it of course. We spent the afternoon/evening at the O's with some more adult beverages and blow up pool fun for the kids. Monday we headed out to Noah's Ark (cute splash park with lots of slides and a big swimming pool) with Kel, The O's & the Aguilar's. The kids totally loved this place and it was perfect for a hot 4th of July day. We had some of the best seats in the house for the Sugar Land fireworks that evening. Eric's parents, Paul & Lynn, had us over and we watched the fireworks from their backyard. They seemed to be exceptionally good this year and the kids thought they were great too. Paul even spoiled us with his homemade amaretto ice cream...so yummy. God has blessed us with the most wonderful friends that I wouldn't trade for anything...we love you guys!
