Bee Cave - Vacation #2

July is one of the big Birthday Celebration months in our family (Frank, Greg, Kris & Sammie). This year was an extra special one as Uncle Greggie was turning the big 5-0. My sis was able to get a friend's house in Bee Cave for some family fun. Saturday we headed out to Lake LBJ and it turned out to be just perfect. Between the inflatable water park and fun on the boat, we all had an amazing, exhausting day. The kids went flying as Daddy & Logan launched them from the 'Orbit' and I flew a little myself while being pulled on the intertube. Sunday we were off to Krauss Springs, a fun little watering hole with a cute botanical garden. Thanks fam for a fun celebration weekend!

Hello Summer!

We didn't waste anytime planning our first Summer vacation. And what better place than good 'ole San Antonio. We first met up with Krissy & Greggie for a little adventure at Cave Without a Name. I have to say I was a tad nervous when we pulled up to this desolate area with a small building and no other visitors. As it turned out, it was perfect. Smaller than Natural Bridge Caverns but with all of the beauty...the boys weren't too sure about it but managed to like it in the end.

We all joined Sammie and Benjamin for a fabulous meal at La Hacienda that evening and Sammie let us spend the night with her...the boys loved it of course.

The next day we checked into Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch and spent the day between the lazy river, outside pool and inside pool. I loved this place and will definitely go back. The lazy river area even had a small beach and we snuck the boys on the big water slides when no one was looking. After dinner we roasted s'mores by the fire pit...so fun!

We couldn't leave S.A. without a trip to Sea World! Shamu, petting/feeding dolphins, roller coasters, water slides, tube rides and great shows. What a fun day. Sammie, Tanner & I skipped the tube ride but found a great little spot where we could spray the riders with a water gun. We got our boys pretty good...Tanner thought this was super fun. Although we were tired from a full day, we watched a movie under the stars back at the hotel and Carson, Parker and I went for a night swim with more water sliding.

Such a great vacation, with great family! Thanks Sammie, Ben, Kris & Greg for joining us!!

PJ's Kindergarten Awards

Parker had a great first year in Kindergarten. He made lots of new friends and reconnected with some old ones. He did so well at the Awards Ceremony and came home with 4 awards...Writers Club, Perfect Attendance, Readers Club & Kinder Completion. We are so proud of him and look forward to the big 1st Grade...yikes!

CJ Graduates

Carson Ray, as Ms. Chan calls him, graduated from Kids R Kids this past May and I can hardly believe it! He's had some great years at KRK...and now it's off to Kinder. I'm sad to see him and his buddies part ways as they head to new schools. The graduation celebration was great and Carson looked so grown up. Nana & PawPaw were there to cheer him on as well. We're so proud of you CJ Kotlarz!
