First Camping Trip

Well, we survived our first 'real' camping trip...tent and all. Our Bible Study planned a weekend trip to Stephen F Austin State Park for a little family fun. Frank, myself & the boys headed up early Saturday morning and were joined by 5 other families, totaling 13 kiddos. We really had a great time and the park was just perfect. We hiked, cooked, toasted smores, ate, played, laughed, and enjoyed our family time in great company. Saturday night the kids had a blast with the glow sticks we brought and the older boys (meaning the husbands) spent the night harassing the raccoons. They even went so far as to tie a chicken leg to a glow stick so they could catch the rascals in action. They may have had more fun than the kids. Parker & Carson were champs and slept in the tent with no problems.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends who share in our love for God and we can't wait for the next adventure.
