An Abundance of Blessings

The blessings were overflowing at our Thanksgiving this year. Surrounded by those that we love and that love us, it was definitely a reason to celebrate. How is it possible to be so blessed and live a life with so much joy? God is great...that's all there is to it. Thank you God for my beautiful family and all the love that they give!

Our morning of cooking started bright & early. Parker & Carson were in the kitchen helping every chance they could (they are really into that right now). I did the basics, as you all know I am not the cook. My sisters took care of the hard stuff and Frank & Greg each did a turkey. My hubby experimented with the turkey this year and it turned out fabulous! (he brined it). He also made cranberry sauce from scratch and a green bean salad. I was very proud of his contributions to the feast!

Of course we all stuffed ourselves and had a great time doing it!

The kids played horseshoes and enjoyed playing outside (eventhough it was way too hot for Thanksgiving!!!) That night we played some family, friendly games of chickenfoot, Mad Gab & Blurt. Too much fun. My Mamaw even stayed out until almost 1:00 am enjoying the festivities.
Unfortunately, Greg ended the night with a trip to the emergency room. His kidney stone was getting the best of him. Please pray it passes soon!!!

Who knew a bowl with a little bit of water in it could be so much fun.
